Beloved Mexican Soccer Star Cuauhtémoc Blanco Joins Fox Sports en Español
Cuauhtémoc will share his expertise and in-depth behind-the-scenes knowledge during the sixty-minute show, which will include segments where “El Cuauh” reveals personal information and facts related to his long professional career. Additionally, the program will feature renowned guests, current soccer stars, and sports journalists to debate contentious soccer moments and share their opinions with the controversial “Temo.”
In his 17 years as a professional player, Blanco wore the shirts of six teams from three different leagues, including América, Nexaca, Santos, Valladolid from Spain, Chicago Fire from the MLS and his current team, Veracruz. He will also draw from his experience of playing in two World Cups with the Mexican National Team and earning MLS All-Star MVP honors in 2008.
“We are thrilled to count Cuauhtémoc Blanco as part of the Fox Sports en Español family,” said Raul de Quesada, Assistant General Manager and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services for Fox Sports en Español. “He is the ultimate addition to our already talented roster of commentators and brings an exciting and engaging view to the world of soccer.”
The charismatic Gustavo Mendoza, a Fox Sports analyst, will accompany Blanco during “The Hour of Cuauhtémoc Blanco.” Actors, comedians and singers will have the freedom to express their points of view on key issues with one of the most celebrated stars of Mexican soccer: Cuauhtémoc Blanco.
