Time Warner Cable Partners With Fox, LA Galaxy and U.S. Soccer Foundation to Revitalize East Los Angeles Public Soccer Field
In attendance for the opening ceremony were President of Residential Servicer West Region John Keib, President of Fox Networks Affiliates Sales & Marketing Mike Hopkins well as local elected official Los Angeles City Councilmember Jose Huizar were in attendance to take part in the unveiling. Prior to the unveiling, local youth from the East Los Angeles community participated in a soccer clinic hosted by Sean Patrick and Tristan Bowen of the LA Galaxy on the new soccer field.
"Operation Community Cup" – a local community-focused project designed to revitalize soccer fields for children across New York City, Los Angeles and Columbus, Ohio transformed the soccer field into a state-of-the-art playing surface by making it new and safer for hundreds of young kids to play on year-round.
