Fox Deportes Announces Lineup For 2011 Major League Baseball Season

Top Spanish-Language Sports Brand to Air Exclusive Coverage of Premier MLB Matchups

Throughout the Regular Season and Playoffs


WHAT: FOX Deportes today announced its exciting lineup of exclusive Spanish-language broadcasts for the 2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) season, beginning Saturday, April 2 when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the defending World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.


As part of a seven-year deal through the 2013 season, FOX Deportes will continue to offer live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of approximately 26 regular season games each year.


For the tenth consecutive year, FOX Deportes will offer live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the MLB postseason, including the American League Championship Series and World Series. The All-Star Game will return to the network, for the eighth consecutive season, on July 12, live from Chase Field in Phoenix, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.


WHO: Award-winning commentators Jose Tolentino and Carlos Hernandez will rotate on color commentary and analysis, while Rolando Nichols joins the all-star cast as the play-by-play announcer.
