Women's World Cup final is a ratings win for ESPN

ESPN tallied the biggest audience in its history for a soccer match with Sunday's 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup final, which saw the U.S. take on surprise winner Japan. The match scored a 7.4 national rating, reaching 8.58 million homes and 13.46 million viewers, Nielsen reports. Multichannel News
