Telemundo launches ‘Deportes Telemundo’ app on the App Store

MIAMI – November 17, 2011 – Telemundo announced today the launch of its new Deportes Telemundo App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, which provides the latest news, scores, statistics and game analysis. The new mobile app is now available on the App Store.

“Our Deportes Telemundo App provides dedicated sports enthusiasts with real-time engagement, anytime and anywhere, extending their viewing experience through compelling, sports content that directly reflects their interests,” said Peter Blacker, executive vice president, digital media and emerging businesses, Telemundo. “The launch of this new app is yet another way to super-serve our audience and expand our programming offerings across multiple screens and viewer passion points.”

The new app, sponsored by Miller Lite, features best-in-class functionality and design and takes advantage of iPhone capabilities including pinching, zooming, tilting, and scrolling. The Deportes Telemundo app also contains clips of Deportes Telemundo programs, including popular clips of sports-themed shows such as “Fútbol Estelar,” “Titulares Telemundo,” “Titulares y Más,” “Ritmo Deportivo,” and more, with up-to-date news, photos and high-quality videos. Show hosts and talent will integrate the app into their shows to engage and interact with their fans in a variety of ways, including asking for fan opinions and responding to their questions.

· Up-to-the-minute match scores with the ability for users to view future events, which can be added to the device’s calendar from the home page.

· Access to real-time statistics and play-by-play to games from the Mexican National Team and Mexican First Division Soccer teams.

· Up-to-the-minute push-alerts informing users the latest information on their favorite Telemundo shows, teams, and matches.
