FOX Deportes announces live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup

New York & Los Angeles, December 8, 2011 – FOX Deportes, the leader in Spanish-language sports media, will once again hold the exclusive rights as the Spanish-language broadcaster of the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup. Live coverage begins on Thursday, December 8th at 5:30am EST with Japan (JPN) vs. Auckland City FC (NZL). The tournament continues through Sunday, the 18th with the tournament FINAL airing live on FOX Deportes at 5:30am EST.

Highlights include the CF Monterrey (MEX) match on Sunday, December 11th, the Santos FC match on Wednesday, December 14h and the FC Barcelona match on Thursday, December 15th. This highly anticipated match will mark the first time that Neymar, forward for Santos and the Brazilian national team, and Leo Messi, of FC Barcelona, will come head to head.

2011 FIFA Club World Cup will be the 8th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup. After UAE hosted the tournament in 2009 and 2010, hosting rights for the 2011 edition return to Japan.
